# Soldered IIS2DULPX Component

ESP-IDF driver for the STMicroelectronics IIS2DULPX ultra-low-power 3-axis accelerometer, part of the [Qwiic ecosystem](https://soldered.com/collections/qwiic-ecosystem). Communication is I2C only, fixed address `0x19` (SA0 tied high).

Not covered by this driver: SPI, Qvar (electrostatic/proximity sensing), and the machine-learning core (MLC/FSM) - the sensor supports these, this component doesn't expose them.

### Original source

The register map, bitfields and mg/LSB sensitivity constants used in this driver were cross-checked against STMicroelectronics' official [iis2dulpx-pid](https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/iis2dulpx-pid) platform-independent C driver (BSD-3-Clause, Copyright (c) 2022 STMicroelectronics). No code from that driver is copied here; this component is an independent implementation in Soldered's own driver style.
