# Privacy Policy ## Effective date In this Privacy Policy (“Policy”), Espressif and its subsidiaries and affiliates（“we”, “us”, and “our”）provide information about how we collect, use, process and transfer personal data. This Policy covers only personal data collected through the Platform and not any other data collection or processing, including, without limitation, data collection practices of other services that maintain their own, separate privacy policies. ## What Personal Data Is Collected - **Account Information:** We requires User to have a GitHub or GitLab account to sign up on Registry through the Desktop apps, CLI, website, or any other means to uniquely identify a user. - **Cookies:** We uses cookies and similar technologies to provide functionality, such as storing your settings and authentication. - **Device Information and Identifiers:** When you access and use Registry, we collect information about your device, which may include: device type, your device operating system; browser type and version; language preference; IP address, cookie identifiers, and hardware identifiers, for security reasons. - **Email addresses:** We will contact you through the email address you provide to us, such as sending event notifications and other information. ## Where We Store and Process Data We store and process all the relevant information in Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in Hong Kong. ## International Data Transfers Espressif is a global company, and we may transfer your information to Espressif subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives, or third-party contractors acting on our behalf worldwide. Each Espressif subsidiary and affiliate collaborates closely with Espressif and any transfer of personal data between these affiliated entities will be compliant with the applicable Privacy and Data Protection Laws. If any of these parties are using your information for direct marketing purposes, we will only transfer the information to them for that purpose with your express and separate consent. ## Individual Rights We have defined a procedure for you to seamlessly exercise the rights you have to manage your personal information collected by us.
